Below overview checks which Google products directly make money for Google in terms of being paid for by the user, or having ads or affiliate links. For years ad execs and marketing experts made the claim that the word FREE was the most powerful word in all of advertising. I admit that it was probably in the top 2 or 3 in terms of power to grab attention….but, in today’s business climate it’s lost a lot of it’s appeal.

    Yup, recession sucks! But it’s not a reason for giving up. I guess we’re back to Darwin’s theory now, survival of the fittest.
