From Boston

At Harvard, staying at the dorm (I'm going to tell everyone, "Sure, I went to Harvard and I lived in the dorms..." ;)) for Wikimania... some quick links before I retire:
- Josh Wolf, videoblogger and all-around good guy, is now in jail for not turning footage he shot during the G8 summit over to the feds. Josh explains his story here. If I could ever get stupid PayPal to work for me, I would have already donated towards his growing legal bill (opening new account...again). You may want to do the same after looking into it. I had the pleasure of meeting Josh at Vloggercon and I think he's incredibly brave. [His mom is currently blogging for him...which is amazing and wonderful and dedicated of her as she, admittedly, is new to the medium].
- Congrats to Mike for launching the CrunchBoard ... I'm loving the extensions of the 'Crunch' brand. What's next? CrunchUps? CrunchCamp? CrunchCon? Oooooo...that would be coooool.
- It looks as if YouTube and MySpace are monopolizing the video space. I was impressed to see Yahoo!Video in third place, though. ;)
- Erica posts awesome 'starting a business' advice, which follows Ted's awesome advice...both stemming from conversations where we solicited both of their opinions. Oh..btw...both said right off the bat, "Get a good lawyer." We got one! Check!
- So much for the recent gender disputes, apparently women want cool technology more than diamonds. So there. I'm not alone. ;)
- Scott pointed me to a hilarious interview with the letter 'e', who is in retirement.

The CEA did a similiar survey a few years back, with the same results. Not surprising.
