WiFi in Calgary...
Just trying to find a coffee shop in Calgary with free wifi...looks like there are tonnes of cyber cafes/business centers ($5/hr to sit there + buy their sandwiches/coffee) and loads of coffee shops...but the question is...will we find one with a great atmosphere, good coffee and free wifi to work at today?
If we do, we will post it to the coworking wiki and WifiMug...some good resources for the wired traveler. ;)

I was in Cagary recently on business and didn't have much luck on the cafe front, though admittedly I didn't have a whole lot of free time to search around, and eventually gave up. Lots of amazing restaraunts though. If you are into Indian/fusion cuisine I highly recommend checking out a place called Mango Shiva.
For free wifi teahouses in Calgary, I suggest Steeps, just off of 17th Ave. in Mount Royal village.
Many a long night during exam week has been spent there :).

Thanks for the list. I did find that info, but the only one accessible is the Unicorn Pub (and it was packed full of Stampede goers sloshed and spilling beer).

Eau Claire Market is where we landed temporarily yesterday - Free wifi, but no plugs!
We have a vehicle today, so we are going to look into Kaffa (one of my favorite old coffee houses in Marda Loop) later on.
Many Second Cup's offer free wifi in Calgary.
The University is all wi-fi ....(was going to say Eau Claire, but you were there!

Just in case anyone is interested, there is also the Oolong Tea House in Kensington that has free wifi. There is a Second Cup a few blocks away if you're more into the coffee.
Yes...we went to the Oolong Tea House, had free wifi and awesome Matcha tea.
