Not like that! Dirty minds...;)

What I meant was that for a significant part of today, Flickr was down, and they handled this downtime with the panache they always do...

"Enter our colouring contest" (spelled with an 'ou' - very Canuck, indeed) and gave a quite witty little banter about tubes being clogged (a bit risque, too...;)):



And guess what? Now Flickr is up and there are already nearly 600 attempts at this contest uploaded to Flickr (not including the NIPSA'd ones...like Chris' two entries, but his stuff is banned from the public search results 'cause he posts too many screenshots). They didn't try to garner sympathy...they used a little humour to lighten the impact of a very real outage...and people totally loved it.

If anyone can prove to me that any one of those big photo storage giants could garner the same level of love, I'll eat my Canadian bacon.
