Birthday Sailing

Birthday Sailing
Full set here.

Wow...thanks for everyone who dropped me a line to send birthday greetings and thanks for the phonecalls and thanks for those who joined me on my surprise sail through the bay!

But most of all, thanks to my PiC, who organized a really amazing adventure in between all of the other million things we have going on AND kept it a secret...I've actually never had a birthday surprise organized for me and this one was fantastic! Thanks Captain Ron...erm...I mean Captain Josh for keeping it real on the Ruby...

[note: The Ruby and Captain Josh aren't for the weak of heart. Captain Josh is all about 'not coddling' and just 'sailing like you are meant to sail'...awesome! In fact, as we de-boarded, I said to Captain Josh, "Man, I thought we weren't going to make it back at one point." and he said, "I go out everyday wondering if we'll make it back," then gave me a wink. I'm sure I was white as a ghost!]

Happy Birthday, Tara. So sorry we couldn't make the celebration! We're having a great time in the Northwest, but would've loved to have been on that boat with you too! xo

Happy birthday, and such great pictures!

Mine's tomorrow, and I'll be on the water too -- though in a canoe on a lake instead!

Tara!!
I am so disapointed I missed that, I was in San Jose playing in tournaments Sat and Sunday... It sounded like a lot of fun, that was a great and original idea... Good job factoryman!
Hope to see you around very soon...

Happy Birthday =)
