I have no idea why the genric form isn't the over arching mantra of an MBA.
Building and improving your product is PR. Designing great packaging and features is marketing. Providing quick customer support is advertising.
In fact anyone trying to do anything else is a snake oil salesman, as they are trying to use PR, advertising and marketing to shine up an inferior product.
