Please...no P's!

Here is a meme that I'm finding myself tire of really quickly:

Well-read bloggers giving advice on how to become well-read bloggers.

I'm sorry, guys (and I do mean guys), but where is the humility? Doesn't everyone else see the irony here? Maybe we're running out of things to blog about? And 4 P's? C'mon...don't think about it that hard.

Personally, I enjoyed Hugh's tongue-in-cheek version very much. Well worth the guffaw. ;)

::Bonus from Hugh:

(A-listology haha) more - and (blogger lies) more - and (this one is good) more

[p.s. If you really want to know the secret, it's to never take yourself too seriously. C'mon. Sage advice? Ha! Numbers aren't everything. Look at the FOXNews audience...hmmm?]

[p.p.s. And, yes, Hugh is an 'A-Lister', but I rarely, if ever, hear any arrogance from him. In fact, he may have too much humility.]

:: Update: Barry has an awesome zinger post to add. Thanks!

Why are you picking on me? I simply explained how I blog. Not how to get readers.

I do like your style, though.

True true. My bad. However, that stinker on how to suck up to bloggers? Erm. Well...that made you a target. ;)

Heh. I definitely agree with the P's thing, though.

And the 'H' thing. And the 'E' thing, come to mention it.

I worked for Apple, so I'm used to being a target. I kind of like it, actually.

:-)

PS: Can you make the "post a comment" text a little larger? Old people like me can barely see it!

I couldn't agree with you more! Thanks for making a point of this.
