Commenting on the commenting on Valleywag

So Chris and I had a little laugh over this little ditty on Valleywag and I was about to comment something like, "Hey, I resemble that remark." and I find out that I can't:

Hmmmm...Okay in all fairness, I could be an anonymous commenter, but why? Then it wouldn't be as funny. Do I really want to send a 'please add me' email? What if I get rejected? Egad, my little bubble would burst and then what would I have left?

Well, whatever...the core issue here is that it is quite unbloggy for a blog in the valley to keep their comments that closed. In fact, I think it would be quite a load of fun for them to throw open that gallery...egad, imagine the snarkiness that people would bring to that forum! Guys...girls...seriously. Take a risk...have some fun...comments ARE deletable...but even then....why?
