But in all seriousness...
Being clueless is definitely an asset.
It's often thought of as being a liability...something associated with mildly misinformed or outright stupid acts. And, yes, being clueless can lead one down that path. But there is another side to cluelessness that is very positive...the lack of limitations.
The majority of us, upon meeting one of those naive, but overly enthusiastic types, will try to gently discourage, or act as 'devil's advocates' in order to steer that poor, lost, clueless soul back to reality. Stop it! Unless the idea is dangerous to that person or others' well being, just open your mind and think of the possiblity of possibilities.
Really. Seriously. I know it is terribly threatening to our normal existence to see someone stumbling through life actually pick a winner, but it happens. And very rarely is it fluke. Yes, some do it because they are damned brilliant, but I would hazard a guess that these brilliant people are actually clueless. Because of the way they think, they throw the notion of limitation to the wind.
I know it stops me everytime I move towards having a eureka moment...doubt. It's been done before. Oh, so-and-so tried that and it didn't work. Egad, that's so last millenium. It could never happen. It's physically impossible. Nobody will go for that. Who would want that? All of those voices in your head come from years of experience and piles of knowledge. Yep. The more you know, the more jilted your growth will be.
Next time, don't ask an expert's opinion for a solution. Ask a newbie. ;)

Well said. I think some degree of cluelessness is required to podcast or start a business, and a lot of cluelessness is required to do both at the same time.
