To infinity...and beyond!

Fabulous. We get to keep building our dream at Riya (not like there was any doubt)! What's that vision? That dream?

Well, if you haven't been to our 'Vision' page, we are working hard to create the next generation of photosearch. Yep, we won't sleep at night until you can find every photo you need to find, whether it's a photo of yourself, your child, your friends, an event, a destination, a date, a time, an object...whatever. Our brilliant computer vision team is working hard at making the first part (face and text rec) better and better every day.

Each and every one of you out there, I hope, will give us feedback and help us achieve that. We want to build this engine to be people strong. Yep. For amateur photographers, professional photographers, snap-happy folks, digital demons, and everyone in between...even screenshots and mockups and your scanned in artwork.

I work with a damn fine team of dedicated individuals (some who blog) and just happen to have a CEO who rocks...

We are aiming to get the next alpha out by the end of this month, so look for it....if you haven't signed up yet, email riya_alpha@riya.com and you'll most likely get an invite for this one. The list is around 15,000 waiting, but this version is pretty exciting, so we're thinking about inviting anyone who is interested. Our public offering will follow when all of you are satisfied.
