Yeah. They need Riya. Of course, so does Google, MS, and just about every other major player out there right now. But Yahoo could combine Riya's technology with Flickr and make the be-all, end-all photo application. Google could combine it with Picasa and create the be-all, end-all photo application.

The possibilities are endless.
My bet is on Odeo. A lot of their acquisitions are for the purpose of extending their lifestyle brand. Podcasting makes sense...
