Second Flock Post

I thought I should add something here.

In response to the general concerns about wide adoption of Flock, why not just an extension, etc:

  1. An extension? That's what I put in my hair. As a halfling (member of the technically clueless, but love the idea of it), I am a bit afraid of extensions. Give me the package or go away. I know many halflings out there who would rather do a wholesale change than add this on and that one.

  2. Is it just me or is this super simple? Clicked on something that downloaded a browser that doesn't look so different that I'm confused. Address bar - check. Back - check. Refresh - check. Wait a minute...what are those? Stars? ooooooooooo. I like stars. Let's click on that. Sure, I'll give you my del.icio.us stuff...OMG look at my tags, they are all there and they look so much prettier. K, so what's this button? ooooooooo. I can add my blog. Look! I'm blogging! OMG...a Flickr topbar? Shut Up! Shut up! Shut up! Dragging stuff? K. Now I'm REALLY stoked.
Issues? Sure. (like I'd really like to fix the html of this post 'cause the numbering is going all wonky and I don't want to look at just the flock photos anymore) But, damn. I'm really happy with this whole make life easier for me thing. It's good. And it's super simple simple simple to move through.

There are alot of other extensions and tools out there that are supposed to do this for me, but why not just build it into my browser? I have a tough enough time remembering urls and passwords and my oodles of logins everywhere.

Okay, so, I'm a big fan. I'm a fan like I'm a Pandora fan (apparently I'm famous for this). I'm a fan like I'm a Riya fan. And I've used it for a total of 1/2 hour.

It may not impress some of the people out there (in recent experience, I've met many who take great pleasure in being unimpressed), but it impresses me.
