In testing our face recognition, I happened to use photos from the recent TechCrunch BBQ and, not knowing that the email alert feature was turned on, accidentally spammed some of my new contacts...yikes!

How it works is that every photo it recognized in the system of that person, it sent a 'Click here to see photos of you that have been recognized!'. Here is the clincher: there was no URL because we aren't live yet. Yech.

Sorry Jared! Sorry Jonathan! If any of my family members or friends or any others received a bulk of emails from me, ignore them...well, until we launch...

It was a total bug, but I certainly don't want to be called a spammer!

You already know how I feel about spam. It's nice to send photos you have to people, just not a zillion times a day!
