Went to the Flickr Fiesta tonight and met some great people. I ran into Kevin Burton again [Note to Munjal: remind me to beam you his contact info...he has leads on potential hires] - had met him last week at the SearchSIG. Kevin introduced me to Gabe Rivera, who is the guy behind the brilliant Memeorandum.

[Oh...btw...I may be the only daft one, but I was pronouncing it 'Me-me-or-andum', but it's just 'Meme-orandum']

Starting yacking with some serious flickrheads, some who have been part of the network from day 1. They spoke in another language. I totally didn't mean to even bring it up, but they asked, so I said I'd add them to the alpha list. ;)

And my beautiful Fuji Finepix s7000 looked like a pipsqueak compared to the monster cameras there. I should pimp her up a little with a honking lens or two next time I show my face in Flickr fan territory. Yikes.

That Flickr, though. They really know how to throw a shindig. Thanks gang!
