Conversation with Eran and Assaf yesterday evening at Tag Tuesday:
Eran: Did you read Scoble on the amount of people switching back to Windows from Mac? I've heard many of those that switched to Mac are switching back.
[update...Eran was referring to Russell Beattie, not Scoble. Tomato Tomato.]
Tara: I know, I know...
Assaf: There are too many limitations. Almost everything is made for Windows before OSX. [update...Assaf said no such thing. It was someone else.]
Tara: But I love my Mac! ...for all of the wrong reasons.
Eran: Because it's pretty?
Tara: Is that so wrong?

for the record I said no such thing. it was Eran. I am intentionally ignorant of all things mac. ignorance is bliss, especially if you happen to be drinking and talking geekerish.
I do however consider being able to trash talk the OS of my choice to be a feature, not a bug.
yeah, and just to further the record, i was talking about Russell Beattie's post not Scoble's.

My anecdotes are supposed to capture the moment and concept as my grasp on facts is fuzzy, at best.

I'm just quietly backing out of any religious war associated with software or hardware. people have been killed for less.
