There are a lot of shareholders of Google (including its 3000 + employees) who are looking for a return on their investment, especially the ones who bought at $300.

I would never look towards a corporation to make a better world. I hope for one too but it won't come from a company.

I know, I know...far be it from me to look to a corporation to save the planet. I just thought, hell, if any corporation was going to take over the world, I would probably vote for Google over, say, Dell or Coca Cola or The Gap, etc.

I'm just overly excited about the open source universe becoming a reality. Open source living...I think I'll make a t-shirt.

(I should have bought that Google stock when it opened...another shoulda')
